At the end of January, I learned that my good friend and colleague Rosanna was fostering dogs and puppies. The organization that she fostered through is Waldo’s, which I had never heard of. She mentioned she was getting a little dog to me, and as soon as I saw the picture, I knew I had to meet her. When I did, I immediately fell in love. At the time. She was called Roma by the family because she was roaming the streets of Georgia. I could not believe this 10 pound little dog was a stray. The adoption process was seamless with Waldo’s. They called for a phone interview. Did a video conference to check out my house and made sure that I Had up-to-date vaccines for my other dog when Roma came to her forever home at my house I named her Darla now she has a sister Dory. Darla loves going for walks loves treats, loves greenies, and most of all loves being part of our family. I could not thank Rosanna and her family enough for fostering this little dog and bringing her into my life, and of course for Waldo’s and all that they do to help bring these fosters from kill shelters to loving families in New York. Rosanna and Arianna and Simon’s are caring loving fosters who save lives and make a difference!
